Hanging Mason Jar Bird Feeder
Though the Mason jar has become a symbol of hipness, it started as a necessity. In 1858, John Landis Mason found a way to preserve fruits, vegetables and other perishables when he devised a lid that screwed to the threaded-glass lip of a jar over a rubber ring that sealed previously boiled contents.
Sunny with Thunderstorms' Hanging Mason Jar Bird Feeder uses John Mason's jar in a bird-friendly fashion. The glass mason jar design allows you to see how much bird food is left and it unscrews from the metal base to allow easy refills. Rope for hanging is included.
A cool, old-fashioned looking bird feeder that any bird enthusiast would love!
